    This grade separated junction had not featured since Spring 2005 but the departure in November 2007 of Eurostar trains (the raison d'Ítre for construction of the diveunder) from this area resulted in revised usage and warrants re-inclusion of entries.     On the weekend of the railway's Autumn Gala, usually held towards the end of September, trains have used this section as part of "all-line workings" when so advertised on the railway's website. Although they did not do so in 2005, 2006 or 2007, they did so on 20/21 September 2008. Note that the line also used on other occasions (such as Sunday 8 June 2008) when so advertised.

    On some Bank Holiday Mondays a chartered shuttle service of trains used this section .

    For Hallowe'en services trains used this section (instead of the Inch Abbey line).

    A modified service - using both the Ballydugan and the Inch Abbey lines - which had previously operated on specifically advertised weekends in July and August did not do so from 2008.
