Services to, from and through London Bridge and its environs were subject to alteration during major remodelling works until 2017; see the Thameslink webpage. Entries that were affected by this remodelling work and marked below with ‡ show services only from the start date (5 or 12 January 2015 respectively) of the modified services that operated through 2015; prior to that date, services over those lines were broadly those shown in the 2014 edition - subject, of course, to alterations and blockades for engineering works over the Christmas 2014/New Year 2015 period. There were no Southern services at or through London Bridge from 20 December 2014 until they resumed on 5 January 2015, and no Thameslink services through London Bridge from 20 December 2014 until they resume in January 2018.

South Bermondsey Junction - Bricklayers Arms Junction (178,184) WF01A
Following 16 day blockade from 20 December 2014, the Reversible line was renamed the Sussex Reversible line, the Down Spur the Bermondsey Reversible line and the Up Spur the Up Bermondsey Spur. From 5 January 2015 until 2017 this was the only route between New Cross Gate and London Bridge, leading to the low level platforms.

On occasional event weekends a shuttle service operated over this short section of the former Midland Swanwick Colliery branch when so advertised.

Moor Road (Leeds) station - Balm Road loop [Middleton Railway]
On the weekend of the railway's Autumn Gala, usually held towards the end of September, and the Gala usually held in June, trains have used this section, some trains being freight trains carrying passengers. The railway is authorised to operate passenger trains over this line on a limited number of occasions each year when so advertised.

Tapton Junction - Barrow Hill Roundhouse Railway Centre [part Barrow Hill Engine Shed Society]

On occasional event weekends a service operates into the Centre's bay platform when so advertised. On the weekend of the Barrow Hill Live event, usually the last weekend of September (but not every year), a shuttle service of trains between Chesterfield and the Centre's bay platform uses this section.

Aylesbury Vale Junction - Quainton Road
On Spring and August Bank Holiday Mondays a shuttle service of trains between Aylesbury and Quainton Road uses this section when so advertised (schedule subject to confirmation).
2015 dates: 4 May, 31 August
Schedule: usually 1035 from Aylesbury and then hourly (except 1335) until 1635, returning 30 mins later but varied when other Chiltern Railways services affected by engineering work.

Long(ue)ville Junction - Fletton Junction [Nene Valley Railway]
During the railway's galas, trains (Fletton Branch Brake Van Rides) used this section when so advertised - but did not operate in 2015.

Horsted Keynes - Ardingly [Bluebell Railway]
During the railway's galas, trains (Brake Van Rides) used a short section of this line when so advertised.

Groombridge Junction (site) - limit of former line towards Ashurst Junction [Spa Valley Railway]
During the railway's galas, trains (Brake Van Rides) used a short (12 chains) section of this line when so advertised.

Bodiam - Junction Road and Robertsbridge - Robertsbridge Northbridge Street [Rother Valley Railway]
These short sections of the original Kent & East Sussex line were used on some special occasions when so advertised.

Downpatrick - Loop Platform - King Magnus's Halt ("King's Halt") - present end of line towards Ballydugan (Ringreagh) [Downpatrick & County Down Railway]
 For Halloween Weekend, trains used the section of south line from the north junction of the triangle (propelling from there through the Loop north platform) to Magnus' Grave, because the other side of the triangle (direct between Downpatrick and the Loop south platform) was being relaid (see their Facebook page).
2015 dates: 30 October - 1 November
Schedule: Friday and Saturday: trains between 1800 and 2100; Sunday: trains between 1400 and 1700.
 For Christmas service ("The Lapland Express") trains ran to Inch Abbey and back, then back to the Loop north Platform by a very short section of the south line.
2014 dates: Saturdays and Sundays from 29 November until 21 December
2015 dates: Saturdays and Sundays from 28 November until 20 December
Schedule: 1400 from Downpatrick and about every 40 minutes to 1700

Dublin Connolly (platform 7) - Newcomen Junction
In addition to the scheduled service (see under IRELAND, above), at the conclusion of the All-Ireland Hurling and Football semi-finals and finals, held at Croke Park on Sundays mid-August to mid-September 2015, the 1643 Pearse - Maynooth was held at Drumcondra station to receive passengers after the match, so the 1705 Connolly - Sligo was diverted via this route to overtake.
